Snapdragon Platform

Qualcomm Snapdragon ChipsetSnapdragon is the name of a family of chipsets with an ARM-based CPU. They were developed by Qualcomm which calls it Snapdragon platform. They were invented for use in smartphones and mobile computing devices.

The Snapdragon chipsets are designed for real-time computing with low power consumption and for providing long battery life. There are a number of chipsets on the platform like the QSD8650, QSD8250, QSD8672 etc. Snapdragon chipsets are created for the new generation mobile phones. Their focus is on connectivity and they try and provide connectivity options like 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. They are thin, portable and easy-to-use.

QWERTY Devices

QWERTY KeyboardTo start with, QWERTY is the layout of letters on a standard keyboard. Almost every keyboard found now has this layout. It is so called because the first row of letters on keypad starts with Q, then W, then E, R, T,Y and so on.

The QWERTY layout is the most used modern-day keyboard layout on English language keyboards and typewriters. This layout was first designed by C.Latham Sholes in 1874 and sold to Remington in the same year when it first appeared in typewriters. The reason why it is named Nintendo Wii is because the Wii with the two i’s in small case represents two people or two players who are coming together. Unibody MacBook

Apple Inc. first introduced the aluminium unibody model of the MacBook in the October of 2008 at the Cupertino press conference aptly entitled “The spotlight turns to Notebooks”. It featured a new Nvidia chipset which brought a 1066 MHz system bus, use of DDR3 system memory, and integrated NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M graphics up to five times the originally used Intel Chipset in earlier MacBooks. Furthermore, this model had an 13.3 LED backlit glossy widescreen LCD display (1280 x 800 pixel resolution), a new Mini-Display Port, a multi-touch glass trackpad that also functioned as a mouse pad, and the removal of toxic mercury along with the FireWire Port which meant it did not support the Target Disk Mode (Used for transferring data or for system repairs without booting the system).
