Green Day
Green Day is an American rock band. It was formed in the late 1980’s in California by two fourteen year olds Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt (born Mike Pritchard) they named it Sweet Children. Their very first show was at the barbeque joint Rod’s Hickory Pit in October 1987 in Vallejo, California.

Whitney Houston
Born on August 9th, 1963, Whitney Houston is an American recording artist, actress, and fashion model.
Houston began singing at the New Jersey church as a member of a junior gospel choir at age eleven. After she began performing alongside her mother at nightclubs in the New York City area, Arista Records label head Clive Davis discovered her and offered her a worldwide recording contract, which Houston signed in 1983.

U2
U2 is a rock band formed in Dublin, Ireland. The band consists of Bono at vocals and rhythm guitar, The Edge on guitar, keyboards and vocals, Adam Clayton on the bass guitar, Larry Mullen Jr. on the drums and percussion.
In 1976, the band formed at secondary school as teenagers with limited musical proficiency. Within four years, they signed with Island Records and released their debut album. Steve Averill, a punk rock musician and friend of Clayton, suggested potential names from which the band chose “U2″ for its open-ended interpretation. (more…)

The Who
‘The Who‘ is an English rock band formed in 1964, primarily consisting of guitarist Pete Townshend, vocalist Roger Daltrey, bassist John Entwistle, and drummer Keith Moon.
‘The Who‘ stand alone in the annals of rock history. Though musically self proclaimed “Maximum R&B” and technically they were Mods, ‘The Who’ were also the godfathers of punk, the pioneers of rock opera, and among the first rock groups to integrate synthesizers.

Teresa Teng
Teresa Teng was probably one of the most famous singers amongst the Chinese people worldwide. She was known to be very influential and popular Chinese pop singers. She mostly sang romantic ballad and folk songs.
Born in Baojhon, Taiwan, to a Mainland Chinese family from Hebei province, Teresa Teng was educated at Gin ling Girls High School. As a child she would win many awards for singing at school events. She won her first major award at an event held by the Broadcasting Corporation of China. Soon she quit her high school to pursue this talent as a career.

Stevie Wonder, aka. Stevland Hardaway Morris was a great American singer, musician, songwriter and instrumentalist. Born on a May 13th of 1950, in Sanigaw of Michigan, Stevie was optically challenged with a disorder called as ROP. Wonder, a prominent figure in popular music during the latter half of the 20th century, has recorded more than thirty U.S. top ten hits and won twenty-two Grammy Awards as well as a Lifetime Achievement Award.

There were Beatles previously, it’s Jackson’s 5 now. The greatest disappointment for a music band’s fans is the breakup of the band, mostly due to the personal ego problems amongst the band members.

Boney M.
Created by record producer Frank Farian , Boney M. was a pop and disco group originally based in West Germany. The original four members of the group were Bobby Farrell (Aruba), Liz Mitchell (Jamaica), Marcia Barrett (Jamaica) and Maizie Williams (Montserrat).
They are perhaps best known for their hit singles “Rasputin” and “Baby Do You Wanna Bump”. Boney M. has been predominantly active from 1975 to 1985 , and then from 1986.
