What is it?
Microblogging is a form of blogging that allows users to make posts with a limit of 140 characters which is similar to the Short Messaging Service used in cell phones. A microblog is a shorter version of an actual blog with each post containing just one or two sentences. It can be done from anywhere; through instant messaging, cell phones or even through e-mail. Facebook is a worldwide social networking site with over 200 million active users. It is owned by Facebook Inc. It was founded by Mark Zukerberg and his friends and colleagues at Harvard University. Initially it was to be used only as a college networking site but was expanded to include other colleges like Ivy League and Stanford University. Later it was expanded even further to include any high school or college student. Finally it ended up including all people aged 13 and above.

Sewing Machine Invention
History
The origin of the art of hand sewing is over 200,000 years ago. Back then, bones or animal horns were used to make sewing needles and animal sinew was used to make the very first thread. While the 14th century saw the first iron needles, it was only in the 15th century that the first eyed needles were seen.

Scuba Gear Invention
When was scuba diving gear invented and history?
Cut hollow reeds were used by ancient swimmers to breathe air which enhanced our abilities underwater acting as the first rudimentary snorkel.
Rudimentary eye goggles made from the thinly sliced and polished shells of tortoises were used around 1300 by Persian divers.

Electric Motor
It is said that the reverse process of electric motor is that it produces the electrical energy from the mechanical energy and it is accomplished by a generator or dynamo. The traction motors are used on vehicles very often and they perform both tasks. The Electric motors can be run as the generators and vice versa therefore this is not always practical.

Twittering: What is Twitter?
Twitter is basically a site for social networking and micro blogging. It was created by Jack Dorsey in 2006.Each author on twitter can make posts with maximum 140 characters. This was meant to resemble the SMSes that are so common nowadays but led to the use of abbreviations and short cuts. Each post is called a tweet and the people reading the tweets are called followers. The more followers you have, the more famous you are.

Hulu was launched jointly by NBC Universal, Fox Entertainment Group and ABC Inc. it was funded by Providence Equity Partners who owns a 10% stake in the company.
Hulu is a legal website launched to steam videos to users. At hulu.com you can find entire episodes of hit TV shows, movies and various clips. Hulu has more than 100 content providers including FOX, NBC Universal, MGM, Warner Bros. and lots more.

Blog is short for ‘web-blog’ and is maintained by an individual to give commentaries, thoughts, information on a subject of his choice. There are many blogging sites but the most popular are www.wordpress.com and www.blogger.com.
The structure of a blog is fairly interactive. The posts are arranged in chronological order. There is an archive for readers to access older post by the creator. There is the option of commenting on each and every post so that the author can read the views and opinion of the people reading his/her blog.
