German Black Forest Cakes
Black forest cake is actually an English name for a southern German dessert called Schwarz alder Kirsch torte which literally means “Black Forest cherry torte”. It is also tempting to know that a black forest cake is actually several layers of chocolate cake with beaten cream and cherries between each layer.
