1971, a year when India was fighting the Bangladesh war, a youngster by the name of Gerald Wiegart, fresh from college teamed up with a man named Lee Brown to create a design house called Vehicle Design Force. The first car that they conceptualized and built was called The Vector. The first Vector was just a body without an engine. It was announced that the Wankel engine from the Mercedes-Benz C111 would be used in the car. Although the car appeared in Motor Trend after its debut, it was never seen on the roads since.

Ultima Sports Ltd. is a sports car manufacturer company currently located in Hinckley, Leicestershire, England. In 1997 Ultima Sports was founded by Ted Marlow and basically Ultima manufactures the components to construct cars which are derived, as road going versions, from the Noble Motorsport Ltd and it originated as Ultima racing cars. They were designed by Lee Noble who quite famous now for the models which are produced by Noble Automotive Ltd.

The Tramontana is well known a Spanish sports car company which produces single or twin seat sports car with styling which is inspired by open wheel racing cars. It is basically built by Advanced Design Tramontana in Palau de Santa Eulalia, Girona, Spain (Catalonia). It is considered to be most expensive cars and the price of the car starts about €500,000. It was first launched as a concept at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show, and then it was modified for production.

The company is situated in West Richland, near the Tri-Cities, Washington. Most of the time this companies name is mixed with Carroll Shelby International but they both are different companies.

In 1971, a German automobile company was launched by the name of BITTER. It was established in the town of Schwelm, Germany, by Eric Bitter who is a former race car driver. The Bitter automobile company manufactured cars for 16 years from 1973 to 1989. The Bitter Company mostly manufactured CD’s and SC’s in their 16 year run. Between 1973 and 1986 Bitter has sold about 395 CD’s and 488 SD’s on proven Russelheim platforms and running gear. Eric bitter produced several prototypes between 1987 and1997 but he could not raise sufficient finance to put them into production. Recently Bitter automobile company displayed a Holden Monoaro based CD2 at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show and in 2007 he came back the Bitter Vero, four door salon based on the Australian Holden Statesman.
