Rochdale GTBetween 1948 and 1973 Rochdale Motor Panels and Engineering in Rochdale, that is Greater Manchester, England invented Rochdale cars which were mainly glass fiber bodied British sports cars. Their best invention was the Olympic coupé which was made between 1959 and 1973.

RUF Automobile GMBH

RUF LogoIn 1923 RUF Automobile GMBH was founded by Alois Ruf Sr.. It is a automotive industry company having its Headquarters at Pfaffenhausen, Germany. Rufs uses Porsche bodies and chassis and when a chassis arrives then Ruf installs many of their own-made parts, the German government recognizes the company. RUF is mostly popular for their CTR Yellowbird. RUF is considered to be the biggest company who makes Porsche tune-ups and their main rival is Gemballa from Leonberg, Germany.

QVALE

Qvale LogoBruce Qvale son of Kjell Qvale heads Qvale which is one of the top most Italian car manufacture company and it came into existence in 2000. Qvale produces only one product that is Mangusta, originally known as De Tomaso BiguĂ . In 1947 in San Francisco, California Kjell Qvale founded British Motors and is popular amongst the automobile industry. On the west coast Kjell was the first distributor for Jaguar and was also one of the founders of the San Francisco Auto Show.

An Extraordinary Make of Cars: Bitter Cars

In 1971, a German automobile company was launched by the name of BITTER. It was established in the town of Schwelm, Germany, by Eric Bitter who is a former race car driver. The Bitter automobile company manufactured cars for 16 years from 1973 to 1989. The Bitter Company mostly manufactured CD’s and SC’s in their 16 year run. Between 1973 and 1986 Bitter has sold about 395 CD’s and 488 SD’s on proven Russelheim platforms and running gear. Eric bitter produced several prototypes between 1987 and1997 but he could not raise sufficient finance to put them into production. Recently Bitter automobile company displayed a Holden Monoaro based CD2 at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show and in 2007 he came back the Bitter Vero, four door salon based on the Australian Holden Statesman.
