When one says ‘healthy hair’, it means hair that is shiny, with resilience and elasticity, hair that is neither too limp nor too dry. If the hair is too dry, then it will have the fly-away look and will be susceptible to getting split ends very easily. Such hair would be dull and lack lustre and shine. Thus, we can say that healthy hair is the type which is balanced, with the sebaceous glands producing just enough oil to keep the hair looking nice and glossy, not in excess.
