Zune HD

Zune is manufactured by Microsoft. It is a portable media player. It has special features including games, music, videos and also the FM radio. The Zune HD is a new addition to the Zune product family. The Zune HD also has a touch screen which measures 3.3 inches. It also has Wi Fi connectivity and can be connected wirelessly. The Zune HD has a HD radio which gives access to many FM stations and music quality is also very clear. The Zune HD has a HDTV through which one can view movies and TV shows. To avail this particular feature the Zune HD has a separate AV dock available. The Zune HD supports 720p file format to play on the HDTV. The Zune HD has a multi touch screen and accelerometer and also has 3D features.

The two models of Zune HD are the Zune HD 16 and the Zune HD 32. The Zune HD 16 has a capacity of 4000 songs or can also watch videos for 5 hours. The 3.3 inch screen is a touch screen with an OLED display of resolution of 480 x 272. The WiFi connection allows one to download music and games. The Zune HD can also be wirelessly synced to the computer and songs can also be transferred wirelessly. Along with listening to music one can also identify and tag the music they want on the Zune HD radio. News, Emails, surfing the net can all be done with the Zune HD wireless connection to the web. Another feature of the Zune HD 16 is the quick play which creates shortcuts for easy access to all the available sections. The Zune HD 32 also has the same features except that it has the capacity of 32 GB and not 16 GB as in the Zune HD 16.

The applications that work on the Zune HD are twitter, calculator, MSN weather and piano. The Zune HD is one of the few gadgets that use the NVIDIA tegra platform which along with its normal functions of playing HD videos also enables the Zune HD with 3D features. The Zune HD is really compact and can be fit into a palm and can be easily used. The Zune HD has a power button on top. The menu button and volume adjustment button is on the left hand side of the device. The actual menu button is in the front. The Zune HD has its headphone and sync port in the bottom. The Zune HD accelerometer can be used to control certain programs. One more special feature is the user interface which seems to be very complicated at first but the fact is that it is extremely simple to comprehend. Each function is organized and displayed such as music, videos, podcasts, radio etc. the home page displays only the wall paper, clock and a battery meter. After one slides down one can view the other functions and each of this is carefully organized for easy access.
